Check In

Disney’s Yacht Club Resort check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 11am. This means that your room isn't guaranteed to be ready for you before 3 p.m. and the resort needs you completely out of your room by 11 a.m. on the day you check out.

The Yacht Club is a five-story, 630 room resort located along the shore of Crescent Lake, opposite the Boardwalk Resort. Themed after seaside New England hotels of the late 1800s, the Yacht Club has a stately, nautical look and feel; hardwood floors and brass accents enhance this feeling

If you arrive early, go ahead and check in at the Front Desk. If your room is not ready, the resort luggage assistance will store your bags for you and deliver them to your room when you return. The Front Desk will give you a resort charge card, even if your room is not ready. The Guest Services desk will provide your room key when you return and your room is ready.

Late Check-out of 1:00 pm can be requested without additional cost. If you need Late Check-out, inquire at Check-In when you should request this. Most resorts ask you to call the morning of check-out because the number of eligible rooms are limited.

Express Check-out is available upon request (easiest to do when you check in) to all guests paying with a credit card. A detailed hotel bill is delivered to your door by 7am.  If the bill is correct you simply leave.  Your room key serves as a Disney Souvenir. Your room key will be automatically deactivated at 11 am.

If you plan to enjoy the parks the day of check out you can call Bell Services to pick up your luggage. If you are taking a bus or taxi to the airport, Bell Services will keep your luggage until your transportation arrives

Resort Pools and Recreation

Probably one of the best pools in Walt Disney World, StormAlong Bay is over 3 acres large.  There are actually several sections to the pool which sits in the middle of Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s yacht Club Resorts.  Each section by each resort are separate and different so be sure to try both. There is a deep circular area with jets that push you like a river current around the pool. There is also the larger area where the the water slide empties out (The water slide is not to be missed! but sometimes the line gets long) In addition, the *sinking sand* area delights both kids and adults. There are several 'hot tubs' located in secluded locations around Stormalong Bay . A separate wading pool area with sand is located near the ShipWreck water slide entrance for small children and includes a kids water slide.

A white fence was built to surround the StormAlong Bay complex. This was done due to the large amount of non-resort guests that were using the pool. Access to the Pool area is now extremely limited; one entrance is just outside Martha's Vineyard; one entrance at the Yacht Club; and one entrance near Hurricane Hanna's. To visit Hurricane Hanna's you must carry your resort ID with you in order to return to the pool area. Each person in the party does not need their ID to enter (if you all enter together) but keep in mind you need the ID if you exit and re-enter the Pool area! You do get stamped upon entering. Lifeguards are on duty

There is a quiet pool at the Yacht Club, found on the far end of the hotel farthest from the Beach Club and closest to the Swan/Dolphin. There is also a hot tub in the same area as the quiet pool. The quiet pool has it's own supply of towels. There is no lifeguard at the Quiet Pool. Guest laundry is located here

Tennis Courts - two lit, hard surface courts are available complimentary to BC/YC guests. The courts are on the Beach Club side and are open from 7am to 10pm daily. Complimentary equipment rental for BC/YC guests are available at the StormAlong Bay Towel Window.

Jogging - Jogging route maps are available from Guest Services or the Ship Shape Health Club.

Volleyball - a sand court is located on the Beach Club side of the complex. Equipment use is complimentary for Beach and Yacht Club guests and may be obtained at the StormAlong Bay Towel Window.

Lafferty Place Arcade - is located next to the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop.

Bayside Marina - located in a small building to the right of the pier (facing the lake) services guests from both the Yacht Club and Beach Club daily from 11am to 5pm. To reserve cruises or fishing excursion call 1-407-WDW-PLAY.

Albatross Treasure Cruise for children ages 4-10 -- Children will wear bandannas as they follow clues and sail to many exotic "ports of call" around Crescent Lake and Epcot looking for treasure. At the final port of call, children will have lunch of peanut butter and jelly sandwich, cookie, and juice box, and will split up the "buried treasure."  Children must be potty trained -- no pull-ups

Beach Club's Sandcastle Club provides evening supervised childcare and in-room baby-sitting for all ages - additional fee required
