In Disney’s
Yacht Club Resort check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 11am.
This means that your room isn't guaranteed to be ready for you before 3
p.m. and the resort needs you completely out of your room by 11 a.m. on
the day you check out. The
Yacht Club is a
five-story, 630 room resort located along the shore of Crescent Lake,
opposite the Boardwalk Resort.
Themed after seaside New England hotels of the late 1800s, the Yacht
Club has a stately, nautical look and feel; hardwood floors and brass
accents enhance this feeling If
you arrive early, go ahead and check in at the Front Desk. If your room
is not ready, the resort luggage assistance will store your bags for you
and deliver them to your room when you return. The Front Desk will give
you a resort charge card, even if your room is not ready. The Guest
Services desk will provide your room key when you return and your room
is ready. Late
Check-out of 1:00 pm can be requested without additional cost. If you
need Late Check-out, inquire at Check-In when you should request this.
Most resorts ask you to call the morning of check-out because the number
of eligible rooms are limited. Express
Check-out is available upon request (easiest to do when you check in) to
all guests paying with a credit card. A detailed hotel bill is delivered
to your door by 7am. If the
bill is correct you simply leave. Your
room key serves as a Disney Souvenir. Your room key will be
automatically deactivated at 11 am. If
you plan to enjoy the parks the day of check out you can call Bell
Services to pick up your luggage. If you are taking a bus or taxi to the
airport, Bell Services will keep your luggage until your transportation
arrives . |

Pools and Recreation
A
white fence was built to surround the StormAlong
Bay complex. This was done due to the large amount of non-resort
guests that were using the pool. Access to the Pool area is now
extremely limited; one entrance is just outside Martha's Vineyard; one
entrance at the Yacht Club; and one entrance near Hurricane Hanna's. To
visit Hurricane Hanna's you must carry your resort ID with you in order
to return to the pool area. Each person in the party does not need their
ID to enter (if you all enter together) but keep in mind you need the ID
if you exit and re-enter the Pool area! You do get stamped upon
entering. Lifeguards are on duty There
is a quiet pool at the Yacht Club, found on the far end of the hotel
farthest from the Beach Club and closest to the Swan/Dolphin. There is
also a hot tub in the same area as the quiet pool. The quiet pool has
it's own supply of towels. There is no lifeguard at the Quiet Pool.
