Check In

Pop Century check-in time is 3pm, and check-out time is 11am. This means that your room isn't guaranteed to be ready for you before 3 p.m. and the resort needs you completely out of your room by 11 a.m. on the day you check out.

General Information

The rooms’ décor is evocative of the period represented in that section of the resort. Each guestroom will have 2 double beds (or one king sized bed which must be requested when making your reservation), nightstand, telephone, small table with 2 chairs, armoire, television, wall mirror, clock radio and an open closet area with shelves on top for extra storage. A vanity area with a single sink and mirror is separate from the tub and commode. A small key-operated wall safe to hold your valuables is located in the closet area. All rooms are equipped with central air conditioning. Guests who need to connect to home or work via the Internet while vacationing, will find a computer data port.

Additional Items

The following are available by calling Housekeeping, but supplies may be limited on some items:  Bed Boards and bed rails, Pak ‘n Play Crib, hair dryers, extra pillows, blankets and towels. Refrigerators are available and can be rented and payable upfront at check-in. Internet access is available at an additional fee

Resort Pools,  Recreation and Shopping

The Classic Years has 3 pools and one playground. The Classic Years has a Bowling Pin Pool near the 1950's buildings, the Hippy Dippy Pool near the 1960's buildings and a Computer pool near the 1980's buildings.

The resort is built around Hourglass Lake and features a bridge called Generation Gap Bridge that joins the Classic Years and the  Legendary Years together.

TIPS:  Guests must bring the towels from their rooms for use at the pool and call housekeeping for additional towels for your room to replenish your supply. Life jackets are provided free of charge and can be picked up at the pool area. Check out the back of the lifeguard stands for park hours and weather information.

The Classic Years area has the Classic Hall which features a check-in lobby, food court with different venues offering dine-in and take-out, merchandise location, Game arcade (Fast Forward), and an exterior waiting area for bus service to and from the attractions.

5,000-square-foot retail center in Classic Hall offers resort-specific merchandise and Walt Disney World souvenirs.  Offerings include Everything Pop, a 640-seat food court area; pizza delivery to guestrooms; and Petals Pool Bar (located adjacent to Hippy Dippy Pool).

Everything Pop, the Food Court, has five stations: Bakery & Café, Market, Grill, East meets West, and Pizza and Pasta plus a self-serve quick food area.

Disney Transportation

Disney’s Pop Century Resort has its own bus transportation that is not shared with other resorts. Guests will get a Transportation Guide/Map upon checking in with instructions on how to get just about anywhere on property, but here are some of the more popular destinations.
