Check In

All Star Sports check-in time is 4pm, and check-out time is 11am. This means that your room isn't guaranteed to be ready for you before 4 p.m. and the resort needs you completely out of your room by 11 a.m. on the day you check out.

General Information

The All Star Sports resort has 1,920 rooms.  The rooms all feature a framed poster and border of the building’s sports theme.  Each of the guest rooms has either 2 double beds or one king sized bed.

Each room has a nightstand, telephone, small table with 2 chairs, armoire, television, wall mirror and a clock radio.  An open closet area with shelves on top for storage with an iron and ironing board.

Additional Items

The following are available by calling Housekeeping, but supplies may be limited on some items:  Bed Boards and bed rails, Pak ‘n Play Crib, hair dryers, extra pillows, blankets and towels.  Refrigerators are available and can be rented and payable upfront at check-in. Internet access is available at an additional fee

Resort Pools and Recreation

Grand Slam Pool

The two pools at Disney’s All Star Sports Resort are surfing and baseball themed. The main pool, Surfboard Bay pool, is located behind the Stadium Hall (the resort's central area). Giant shark fins, surfboards and waves circle the pool area. There is also a children’s wading pool here. The Grand Slam pool is the quiet pool and is located in front of the Home Run hotel. It is shaped like a baseball diamond with an "outfield" sundeck and a water-sprinkling Goofy “pitching” from the center of the pool.

Both pools range in depth from 3ft to 5ft. There are showers, lockers, restrooms, and a laundromat at each pool area. The buildings that house the lockers and restrooms are also themed. Pool hours are from 8am - Midnight with lifeguards on duty from 10am-10pm (quiet hours are from 10pm-Midnight).  Guests of any of Disney's All-Star Resorts may go to another All-Star Resort to enjoy the swimming pools during their vacation

TIPS:  Guests must bring the towels from their rooms for use at the pool and call housekeeping for additional towels for your room to replenish your supply. Life jackets are provided free of charge and can be picked up at the pool area. Check out the back of the lifeguard stands for park hours and weather information.

Game Point Arcade

The Game Point Arcade in Stadium Hall offers a good-sized selection of the latest video games and pinball machines. Posted hours are until 2 a.m.

Sport Goofy Gift and Sundries in Stadium Hall is stocked to the rafters with WDW and All Star souvenirs, sports apparel, postcards, snacks and sundries. Postage stamps are available, as are film, milk, and newspapers. The shop's hours are 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM daily.

Dining

While there is no sit down restaurant here, there is the End Zone Food Court that seats 550 people. Decorated with football and surfing scenes, giant sports figures are found atop the red, green and blue dining booths. Pizza, pasta, barbecue ribs, fruit, sandwiches, hamburgers, rotisserie chicken, baked goods, kids' favorites such as macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers, and "Blue Plate" specials are the featured fare here. Hours are usually 6 a.m. to midnight.
.  Room service is limited to pizza, salads, soft drinks and beer from 5 p.m. until midnight.

The poolside bar, Team Spirits, serves a continental breakfast in the morning and sandwiches, snacks and beverages for the remainder of the day.

Resort layout

There are two elevators in each building, located next to each other in the center of the building. There is also a staircase next to each pair of elevators, and a room with an ice machine just behind them. There are outside staircases at each end of each building, so if your room is far from the elevators, you can use those stairways.

All the buildings have been constructed in the shape of the letter "T". The top part of the T faces inwards towards the pools and/or courtyards while the stem of the T points back towards the parking areas. The buildings are all three stories high.

This illustration will show you the location of  each room at any All Star building

Each resort room is numbered with a four digit number. Each digit carries a meaning. The first digit is the building number (0-9). There are 10 buildings at the resort.

The second digit will indicate the floor that your room is on. The pattern runs like this: 1 thru 3 with 1 being the ground floor and 3 the top floor

Finally the last two digits will indicate the actual room number on the specific floor. So our example of room #0122 would indicate that the room is number 22 in building #10 (the zero indicates 10) on the ground floor.
